“Party People” is a song by rapper Nelly, scheduled to be the second single released from his fifth studio album “Brass Knuckles”.
The single features pop/R&B singer Fergie. The meant-for-the-club track is produced by Polow Da Don. The video was directed by Marc Webb.
The song was originally intended for Fergie’s album The Dutchess, but was pulled from that album because her record lable considered the track to be “too street” for her image. In yet another (see Love in This Club) example of Polow Da Don releasing tracks or beats before they were intended, he played the track for Nelly who immediately decided that he wanted to use the beat.

“Homecoming” is the twelfth track and the fifth single taken from Kanye West’s album Graduation to be released in the United Kingdom. The song will be released in the UK instead of “Flashing Lights” which is serving as the fourth single in the rest of the world.
The song features vocals by lead singer Chris Martin from Coldplay. Some of the lyrics were taken from Common’s “I Used to Love H.E.R. (Hip Hop in its Essence and Real).”
The song’s lyrics were originally recorded by West with John Legend singing a different hook with the song called “Home” (which was circulated on the mixtape Freshmen Adjustment). However, the Legend version was cut in favour of Martin’s, which West and he worked on together at Abbey Road Studios in 2006.
